What's New?

  • January 2010

I can't believe it's already been a year since I last posted something here... time goes by so fast!

So, 2009 was eventful! It started off with some sad news: the bad economy hit The Orphanage hard and the company no longer exists. :( I am thankful for the great experience I received there and all the friends I made. When this happened, I had just started working at Mekanism and continued working there until April. While there, I mainly worked on the Charles Schwab commercials, like this one here.

After a vacation to Europe in May, I landed a job at PDI/DreamWorks, down in Redwood City. I've been working there since, first on a couple TV productions (Monsters vs Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space and Merry Madagascar) and right now we're finishing up both How To Train Your Dragon and Shrek Forever After.

Alright, that's all for my update. I promise I'll try to write my next update before 2011 arrives! :)

During the Christmas break I finally had some time to update my Demo Reel!

I've put the compressed version here on my site, so go ahead and check it out! :)

Thanks to my husband Mark Kater I now have a new website!

I'm still working at The Orphanage now for the past 2 years. I'm currently the lead roto/paint artist for the respective department. I'm currently working on a few commercials with them as well as The Battle of Red Cliff.

I recently had a one day gig taking photos for FemmeFan for journalist Sara Kwan at a San Francisco Giants game. Some of the photos can be found in the photography section.
